What should our response be when faced with trials? It’s hard to “count it all joy,” when suffering comes, but for those in Christ, our pain is never wasted.
1) Rejoice because you are coming out gold. (Fire, Acid and Electricity is used for refining)
Job 23:10 “But He knows the way I take; When He has tried me, I shall come forth as gold.“
2) Rejoice because there is a glory coming
Romans 8:18 “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.“
2 Corinthians 4:8-10 “We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed but not in despair; persecuted but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.“
3) Rejoice because God is building an indestructible you.
Romans 5:3-4 Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope.
James 1:12 Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial(T) because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life(U) that the Lord has promised to those who love him.
What Satan meant to destroy you, God is using to build you. Don’t give up, persevere until you see His glory.
